Arabic hadith text
عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يومًا: «يا عائش، هذا جبريل يُقرِئك السلام» فقلت: وعليه السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته، تَرى ما لا أَرى. تريد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم .
English translation
‘Ā'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O ‘Ā'ish, this is Jibrīl greeting you with peace." I said: "May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon him. You see what I can not see," referring to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him).

Explanation of the hadith
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) told ‘Ā'ishah that Jibrīl greets her with the greetings of peace. She returned the greeting by invoking Allah's peace, mercy, and blessings upon him. She also told the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) that he saw what she could not see, in reference to his seeing Jibrīl.
