Explanation of the hadith
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade and warned against swearing by the Amānah and that whoever does this is not one of us.
عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ رضي الله عنه قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ رضي الله عنه قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ حَلَفَ بِالْأَمَانَةِ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا».
Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said:
