A truthful prophet

Idris is named as a man of truth and a prophet.

Maryam 19:56

وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَّبِيًّا

And mention in the Book [the story of] Idrīs[14]. He was a man of truth and a prophet.

Raised to a high station

Allah raises him to a high station and counts him among the steadfast.

Maryam 19:57

وَرَفَعْنَـٰهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا

And We raised him to a high status[15].

Al-Anbiyaa 21:85

وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَإِدْرِيسَ وَذَا ٱلْكِفْلِ ۖ كُلٌّ مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ

And [remember] Ishmael, Idrīs and Dhul-Kifl[37]; they were all steadfast.

Al-Anbiyaa 21:86

وَأَدْخَلْنَـٰهُمْ فِى رَحْمَتِنَآ ۖ إِنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ

And We admitted them to Our mercy, for they were truly righteous.
